Refund Policy

Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions and purchases made through SomeYum's mobile application, web application, and related services. We want you to be satisfied with your CravePass subscription. If you are not, we offer refunds under the conditions described below.
1. Subscription Plans
SomeYum offers the following paid subscription plans under the CravePass brand:
- CravePass Monthly: $4.99 per month, billed monthly
- CravePass Annual: $29.99 per year, billed annually
All subscriptions provide unlimited access to premium features including unlimited swipes, recipes, meal planning, grocery lists, cooking modes, and saved recipes.
2. Free Features
SomeYum offers a free tier with limited daily usage. No payment is required to use SomeYum's basic features. Since no charge is made for free features, no refund applies.
3. Refund Eligibility
3.1 iOS App Store Purchases
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's refund policies. To request a refund for an iOS purchase:
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Select the subscription charge you wish to dispute
- Follow Apple's instructions to submit your refund request
Apple handles all refund decisions for App Store purchases. SomeYum does not have the ability to process refunds for iOS transactions directly.
3.2 Web Purchases (Paddle)
Subscriptions purchased through our website are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal if:
- The service did not function as described
- You were charged in error (e.g., duplicate charges)
- You did not authorize the purchase
To request a refund for a web purchase, contact us at [email protected] with your transaction details. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
4. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your CravePass subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
- No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period
- Your account reverts to the free tier after the subscription expires
4.1 How to Cancel
iOS subscriptions: Open the Settings app on your device, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select SomeYum, and tap Cancel Subscription.
Web subscriptions: Contact us at [email protected] or manage your subscription through the Paddle customer portal.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will generally not be granted in the following cases:
- Change of mind after the 14-day refund window (web purchases)
- Failure to cancel before a renewal date
- Temporary service interruptions or maintenance periods
- Dissatisfaction with recipe recommendations (our AI continuously improves based on your preferences)
6. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is unauthorized, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving disputes promptly and fairly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account.
7. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
